Corny Point/ Gravel Bay

Writer's picture: Anna-Lei PetitAnna-Lei Petit

Corny Point was called after Captain Flinders in 1802 because it resembles a growth on the Yorke Peninsula's toe. We were able to catch a large number of squid and prepare them in a wide range of recipes from around the world ( Chinese, French, Italian).

Gravel Bay was a stunning location. We experienced the nicest Christmas ever by making our own Christmas decorations from afar. During our four days there, we also had a pod of dolphins that came in and out.

Hi, thanks for dropping by!

Acknowledgement of country

I would like to acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders people as the traditional custodians of country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community.

I would like to also pay my respect to elders past, present and emerging and stand together with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders leaders of today and tomorrow.
